Frequently asked questions
How much will it cost?
For each assignment we undertake, our charges are based on the time and costs to prepare and deliver each
project. Because workshops and programmes are usually prepared and delivered specifically for the participants
from your organisation, they are costed on a time and materials basis.
Where do workshops and programmes take place?
We deliver your events at a time and location convenient to your organisation. You may prefer to use your own
facilities or alternatively we can help you source a suitable venue. Consultancy projects generally take place within
your organisation.
What is the minimum number of participants on a workshop or programme?
There is no minimum number. As a guide, we normally suggest a ratio of 1 facilitator to 6 – 12 participants –
dependant on the type of workshop or programme.
How would we work with you before/during a project?
Before running any event we agree the way we want to work together. For example, you may want us to manage
and deliver the total project; alternatively, you may want us to work alongside your in-house team to help develop
their skills. Either way, our intentions of how we will work together will be laid out in the proposal before the start of
the project. At all times, our aim is for you to see us as trusted business partners who can be relied upon.
What does it feel like to be a participant in an Inspirations event?
Our experience tells us that “learning through doing” works. We also believe people learn best when they are
enjoying themselves. We use innovative, fun approaches to ensure a high level of participation and enjoyment.
Participants will feel challenged, but will never be “put on the spot”. Our facilitators have experience in working with
many different types of participants and are able to flex their style to suit the learning needs of any group.
How do you evaluate learning and development?
Before designing the project, we will agree how the project’s effectiveness is to be measured. This may use a
combination of: feedback from participants on the workshop; evidence of transfer of learning to the workplace; and
measurement of business performance improvements attributable to the training.
